Another popular dog collar offered at Country Brook Design is the harness. Unlike traditional dog collars, harnesses take the strain off a dog’s neck and put it on the chest. A harness will help to stop a dog’s forward movement without injury to the neck or trachea. With the strap in front and behind the dog’s front legs, it is more difficult for the dog to slip out of a harness than a regular collar. Our harnesses are made with cotton fabric sewn on nylon webbing, not polypropylene webbing. Nylon webbing is safer and more durable – it is four times stronger than polypro webbing. Since safety of your pet is our top concern, we also use the most durable and strong contoured buckles, welded dee rings and wide-mouth triglides. The harnesses are also made to be comfortable for your dog. The pictures of our harnesses shown on this page are shown in Forest Camo design. However, a harness can be made in any one of our hundreds of fabric designs. To choose a design, click on the “Handmade Designer Dog Collar” link on the left side of the webpage.
