Metal hardware is an essential component of all webbing projects, providing strength and durability. Metal hardware comes in large varieties and many sizes, including d-rings, o-rings, triangle rings, rectangle rings, and split rings, triglides, snap hooks and key fob hardware.
Depending on your project, nickel-plated D-Rings, o rings, triangle rings and metal rectangle rings can provide support for heavy or light weight applications. Pay attention to choose welded or non-welded rings also.
These rings are perfect for harnesses, dog collars and leashes, and backpacking projects. These same projects will also need strong snap hooks, trigger snap hooks, and triglides to complete the connections.
Also useful are half-check chains for half-check dog collars, key fob hardware for holding ends of webbing or ribbon, and lanyard hooks. Snap hooks, including swivel hooks and barrel hooks, are also important for a tangle-free experience. D-rings, buckles, triglides, and snap hooks, etc. are made to correspond with the size of webbing needed. For example, 5/8" webbing will need 5/8" metal hardware.
