Split weave nylon webbing is a unique style of webbing. There is a split in the middle of the webbing for tension release. This is a super heavy nylon webbing, which is stronger than polypropylene and polyester webbing. Nylon has a soft, lustrous feel with little sheen. Being machine washable makes this webbing easy to take care of (recommended to dry on low heat).
Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We strongly recommend that you use no more than 50% of the tensile strength of any webbing.
