Metal hardware is an essential component of all webbing projects, providing strength and durability. Metal hardware comes in large varieties and many sizes, including D-rings, O-rings, triangle rings, rectangle rings, split rings, triglides, snap hooks, and key fob hardware.
Depending on your project, nickel-plated metal D-Rings, O-rings, triangle rings, and rectangle rings can provide support for heavy or lightweight applications.
Metal hardware is ideal for harnesses, dog collars and leashes, and backpacking projects and remember to order strong snap hooks, trigger snap hooks, or triglides to provide a secure, complete connection.
Additional applications include half-check chains for half-check dog collars, key fob hardware for securing ends of webbing or ribbon, and lanyard hooks. All snap hooks, including swivel hooks and barrel hooks, offer a tangle-free experience.
Carol's Tip: Depending on the end use for your project, consider whether you need welded or non-welded rings. D-rings, buckles, triglides, and snap hooks are constructed to match webbing widths. For example, 5/8" webbing will need 5/8" metal hardware.
