5/8 Inch Black Heavy Polypro Webbing

Country Brook Design
  • 5/8" wide
  • Approximately .066" or 1.68mm thick
  • 470 lbs tensile strength
  • UV resistant
  • Water proof/mildew resistant

Great product!!!

I originally ordered the more expensive nylon webbing and opted for the polypro when I needed to save $$$. The noticeable difference was that the polypro was lighter-weight and slightly loose weave which worked out great for my sewing projects with the webbing!

PagesProduct Description

Description:

Polypropylene webbing is a soft, flexible fabric of woven fibers. Made from thermoplastic resins, this versitile material is perfect for outdoor use due to it's UV resistance and waterproof fibers. Polypropylene webbing won't stretch like Nylon webbing can, and is more resistant to acid, alkaline, oil and grease.

Notes on Use:

It is best to use 5/8" hardware with this polypropylene webbing. D-rings, buckle, triglides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.

Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We recommend that you use no more than 50% of the tensile strength of any webbing.

Some rolls may contain factory splices. If you need a continuous roll let us know.

Heavyweight webbing is a multi-purpose product and is commonly used in making:

  • Bags
  • Straps
  • Handles
  • Reinforcements
  • Luggage
  • Backpacks
  • Sporting Goods
  • General Purpose Straps
