Description:

This Velcro® brand non-adhesive sew-on hook and loop is made up of a roll of hook, which is small barb-like hooks, and a roll of loop, which is covered with tiny loops. When the two sides are pressed together, the hooks and loops catch and hold the pieces together. When separated, the strips make their characteristic ripping sound.

It can be used on clothing, as originally designed, to replace zippers and buttons. Hook and loop is great for holding tools and equipment to walls and on backpacks, handbags, and luggage. NASA has been one of the biggest users of Velcro® where it is used on space suits, on almost every surface of the shuttle and space station, and actually Velcro® straps hold astronauts to the floor of the space vehicle in weightlessness. Another big user of hook and loop is the military which uses it in uniforms, equipment, and vehicles. These many examples show the versatility of Velcro® hook and loop.

Notes on Use:

It is best to use 1" hardware with this product. D-rings, buckle, triglides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.

When purchasing Velcro® from Country Brook Design, a length of hook and a matching length of loop are included in the stated price. For example, 50 yards of sew-on Velcro® style hook and loop will be 50 yards of hook and 50 yards of loop.
