Velcro®, Hook and Loop

The best thing since buttons and zippers has to be the hook-and-loop system! At Country Brook Design® you can order the well-known Velcro® brand or our own Country Brook Design® system. The versatility of sew-on hook and loop makes it great for clothing but it excels at holding tools and equipment to walls. It's perfect for backpacks, handbags and luggage. NASA actually uses Velcro® straps to secure astronauts in weightlessness and the U.S. military uses hook and loop in everything from uniforms to equipment and vehicles.

Each purchase of the Velcro® brand from Country Brook Design® includes a length of hook and a matching length of loop in the stated price. Our own Country Brook Design® brand offers you the option of purchasing just the hook side, just the loop side, or both hook and loop.

Our hook and loop Velcro® style rolls come in 1", 1.5", and 2" widths. We also offer all the plastic or metal hardware needed for any projects using Velcro® style hook and loop.

Carol's Tip: Clean the loop side by sticking duct tape or packing tape to it. Remove it and you have clean loops! For small sections of the hook side, run a toothpick between the hooks and lift the 'fuzz' out. Larger sections can be cleaned using a fine-toothed comb. Hook and loop should be washed alone; lint from other fabrics will stick to the hook and loop.
